　　考研英语每日词汇，考研英语词汇不论在复习的什么阶段，都要不断地重复和回顾。在平时的阅读中，要不断地回顾词汇，看看自己是否真的记住了单词。在例句中和阅读中不断记忆和回顾单词，才会有效地记住并理解词汇。
　　1、concede
　　concede是动词，常见的有三个意思。
　　首先，指不情愿或勉强地“承认”。
　　The Government has conceded that the new tax policy has been a disaster. 承认新的税收政策是彻底失败的。
　　That principle now seems to have been conceded. 那条原则现在似乎已被承认了。
　　第二，指不情愿地”让步，让与，答应”。
　　He is not willing to concede any of his authority. 他不愿交出自己的任何权力。
　　Britain conceded independence to India in 1947. 英国在1947年承认印度独立。
　　第三，意为“认输，承认失败”。
　　She conceded even before all the votes had been counted. 选票还没全部点算她就认输了。
　　After losing this decisive battle, the general was forced to concede. 输掉了这场决定性的战役后,那位将军不得不承认失败。
　　2、concerning
　　concerning这时看作介词，意为“关于，涉及”，也很常见。
　　He asked several questions concerning the future of the company. 他问了几个有关公司前途的问题。
　　I've had a letter from the tax authorities concerning my tax payments. 我收到了税务部门寄来的关于我纳税情况的一封信。

　　3、concert
　　concert作名词，意为“音乐会”，词组 in concert指“音乐会现场演出”。
　　We were going to a concert in Bath Abbey. 我们要去听一场在巴思修道院内举行的音乐会。
　　They're appearing in concert tonight at the Royal Concert Hall. 他们今晚将在皇家音乐大厅登台演出。
　　短语in concert 还有一个意思为“一起行动，和…一起行动”。
　　Britain has to pursue policies in concert with other EU members. 英国必须和其他欧盟成员国一起贯彻各项政策。

　　4、concession
　　concession是常见的重要名词，常见的主要有两个意思。
　　首先，意为“妥协，让步”。
　　The British were not prepared to make any concessions. 英国人没有打算作出让步。
　　The committee has won a number of major concessions from the prison authorities. 会已经从当局那里争取到一些重大的让步。
　　第二，意为“特许权，优惠”。
　　The company has just won a mining concession in the north of the country. 这个公司刚刚取得了在国家北部的特许采矿权。
　　You can get travel concessions if you are under 26. 26岁以下者乘车可以获得优惠。
　　5、concise
　　concise是 形容词，意为“简洁的，简明的”，等于brief。 Burton's text is concise and informative. 伯顿的文章语言简洁，信息丰富。 Whatever you are writing make sure you are clear, concise, and accurate. 无论写什么，一定要清晰、简练、准确。6、conclude
