　　“一...就...”这个句式在英文中有很多不同的表达方式①普通的表达方法：as soon as 引导的时间状语从句②使用连词directly， immediately， once等③使用介词on/upon ＋名词/动名词的形式。（可根据自己的积累和表达习惯使用合适的表达。）

　　青年人是中印两国的未来，也是亚洲和世界的希望。

　　the youth（pl.）→young people considered as a group（统称）青年，年轻人，谓语动词用复数。
　　青年人有现实者的喜怒哀乐，更有理想者的信念和执着。
　　The youth mayhave feelings of joy and sorrow from their everyday life, but theynever stop pursuing their ideals with conviction and devotion.
　　“现实者”和“理想者”都是较为严肃的政治词汇，这里演讲者使用的并非这种严肃含义。并不直接译出“realist”和“idealist”的字面含义，而是在进一步分析演讲者话语意图后，译出真正含义。
　　现实者的喜怒哀乐→青年人会在现实的生活中体验到各种情感：have feelings of joy and sorrow from their everyday life
　　理想者的信念和执着→青年人会带着信念和执着锲而不舍地追求心中的理想：never stop pursuing their ideals with conviction and devotion

　　“in conclusion”这个词组除了“总之，综上所述”的意思外，还可用在发言中表达“末了，即后，在结束时”的意思。
　　“己欲立而立人，己欲达而达人。”出自《论语●雍也》，是孔子的一个重要思想。→自己想要立业，就要帮助大家立业；自己想要前途通达，就要帮助大家前途通达。（翻译时由于前后主语与结构皆相同，不必按照原文结构处理为两句，将其杂糅为一句即可。）
