　　SSAT英语重点考察对单词和语法的了解，尤其是对单词中的Analogy语言元素类型比较的形式。今天我们来讲词汇类比的不同形式的第二课。

　　Analogy is a comparison between two things, typically for the purpose of explanation or clarification. SSAT Analogies test students’ ability to determine the relationship between words.
　　Associated Characteristic:
　　Definition: An Analogy of Associated Characteristic is an analogy in which an X (a feature, a feeling, a state, etc.) is an attribute of a Y (a person, an animal, an object, a state, etc.).
　　Example: Liar is to dishonest as genius is to intelligent: Dishonesty is an attribute of a liar as intelligence is an attribute of a genius.
　　Example: Attack is to aggressive as donate is to generous: An aggressive person is ready to attack as a generous person is ready to donate.
