  You should say
  Where it was
  What it lookedlike
What it was usedfor when you visited it
  And explain whatyou learnt there
In terms of a historical site, I’ll give you a few words about thePalace museum which is generally regarded as the showcase for the conventionalculture of BJ.
It lies in the heart of BJ, in the vicinity of the Tiananmen Square. It used to be,as you probably know, the Forbidden City, served as the imperial palace for China for over 600years. Built by the second emperor of Ming Dynasty, Emperor YongLe(永乐皇帝), it now hasbecome the symbol of China, a magnet to the visitorsall around the world.
It is said that the Forbidden City has nearly 1,000 rooms. The frontpart of the palace is served as the administrative section for state affairswhere the emperor would meet the imperial officials and foreign visitors andthe rear sections is served as the living quarters(起居地)for the Emperorand his wife and concubines(妻妾嫔妃).
What inspired me most should definitely be the culture it represents. Thisancient building links the past and now, presenting our modern people a pictureof emperor’s life, helping us get a glimpse of the lavish life the king led. Additionally, asthe crystal of the ancient wisdom on the architecture, it also gives us a lotinspiration on our modern structure.

  Part3
  1) Do Chinese people like to visit historical buildings?
  2) Why do people visit historical buildings?
  3) Is it necessary to protect historical buildings?
  4) Do most people agree to the government’s funding to protecthistorical buildings?
  3. Describe newly built public facility (such asparks, cinemas etc.) that improves local life quality
  You should say:
  Where is thisfacility
  When it was built
  What people can dothere
And explain howyou felt about it
In terms of topic, I would like to give you a few words about YuxiPark, which has always been my favorite hang-out.
If my memory serves me right, the first time I visited it was severalyears ago, and I was totally fascinated by its beautiful lake and grass field, and then I became a regular there. It’s no exaggeration to say, I hit it on a weekly basis toidle away a dullafternoon.
In my memory, it used to be an abandoned factory, a blot on the landscape, however, under years of construction, it has been converted into a paradise forvisitors, gaining the popularity in the locality and apparently it’s become anlandmark frequentedby residents nearby.
Actually, it’s an reinvigoratingplace. These days, I have too many things on my plate, I need to juggle between mydissertation and ielts, going to the park, you know, contacting with naturewould help me switch my mood and stay active.
In short, that’s why it’s taken as a perfect hangout for the localresidents.
  PART3:
  1) Do you think public places should be free or not? Why?
  2) What`s the difference between the young and the old when choosingplaces to hang out?
  3) What’s the difference between facilities in the countryside andthe ones in the cities?
  4) What are the differences between old facilities and newfacilities?
  5) Do you think governments should invest more public places?
  6) What measures should be taken to deal with damage to publicfacilities?
