On the other hand, paying for a retirement home’s service can be difficult for many people as this option entails a great amount of cost. This could potentially further aggravate the financial situationof many modern families. Probably another big problem is that when these parents are living in retirement homes, they get less chance to see their children and relatives. This would negatively affect their sense of well-being in the long run. After all, family relationship is a key element in one’s life and this is especially true to old people. With that being said, I still believe this alternative of looking after elderly parents is highly recommended based onthe fact that modern people are quite stressed by work or study. Children can choose a retirement home well within the budget and visiting them on a regular basis.
