　　托福考试阅读题，想必是又让大家体会到了“明明每个词我都认识，但放一起就看不懂了，选答案时又觉得哪个好像都是对的……托福阅读的学习是一个日积月累的过程，不仅需要大量词汇和语法知识作为支撑，还需面对不同主题内容。做阅读题是的技巧和规律，是很多同学一直关心的问题，作为资深的阅读老师，在这里给大家分享一些托福阅读常考的规律，帮助大家理清脉络，高效学习。
　　我将利用托福真题的句子来给大家进行讲解：
　　1.关于插入语部分
　　Some of the earliest human civilizations arose in southern Mesopotamia, in what is now southern Iraq , in the fourth millennium B.C.E.
　　如果插入语的功能为补充说明前词，且前词并非重要概念，可以跳读。
　　2.关于文中出现地点时间
　　地点、时间可以形成大体印象之后跳读，如果做题处有需要，可以回过头定位。
　　3.有些句子里，成分之间缺少符号
　　In 334 B.C. Alexander the Great took his Greek armies to the east andin only a few yearscompleted his creation of an empire out of much of southwest Asia In the new empire, barriers to tradeand the movement of peoples were removed; markets were put in touch withone another.
　　这个时候要学会判断句子的各项成分，比如本句中的in only a few years为状语成分，速读中可以去掉，发现and是并列took和completed的。
　　4.动词归并
　　上文中的put in touch with这类词组可以当做一个及物动词处理
　　5.notonly...,but可以当做and处理
　　Towns and cities were established not onlyas garrisons (military posts)butas centers for the diffusion of Greek language, literature, and thought, particularly through libraries, as at Antioch(in modernTurkey)and the most famous of all, at Alexandria in Egypt, which would be the finest in the world for the next thousand years.
　　not only..., but可以当做and处理，and基本可以并列任何成分：从句到to do再到介宾成分再到词。本句话可以按照...were established as garrisons and as centers.
　　6.关于括号内的词句
　　上文中括号内的内容可以先不看，或形成粗略印象。但不代表选项中不会考察括号里面的内容。
　　7.当遇到看不懂的短语时
　　Second,this internationalism spelled the end of the classical Greekcity-state——the unit of government in ancient Greece——and everything it stood for.
　　比如 spell the end of - 可以忽略不认识的词，或把不认识的词替换成简单的词，如be，形成理解。

　　8.注意连词、介词之间的区别
　　The philosopher Plato (428-348 B.C.) felt that the ideal city-state should have about 5,000 citizens, becauseto the Greeks it was important that everyone in the community should know each other.
　　比如because，后面应该接一整句话。在这里，看到because，马上开始将because后面的句子当做一句新句处理。
　　9.阅读困难时要训练自己跳读副词
　　In decision making, the whole body of citizens together would have the necessary knowledge in order generally to reach the right decision,even though the individual might not be particularly qualified todecide.
　　比如说in order generally to,可以先省略generally，发现实际的结构是inorder to。
