　　Well the most humiliating late occasion of mine happened in the last semester in college. It was an English writing exam, the last one actually. We were required to arrive at the school building no later than 2 pm in the afternoon. I don't know what got to me that day. Maybe I was slack, or maybe I was really forgetful, I remember the time of the exam wrong! I took a nap after lunch as usual, and thought it would not be too late to get up at 2 pm, because I was sure that the exam was due at 2:30 pm. So I got up at 2 pm as I planned and walked calmly and unhurriedly to the classroom. But upon entering the building I felt that something was wrong. Why is it soquiet? I thought to myself. The exam had not started, there should be students on the corridor and there should be chatting and talking. It suddenly dawned on me that the exam had already started. I was scared and upset that I already missed 20 minutes of the examination time. When I enter the classroom, I dared not look up to the teacher. But I could clearly feel his stern accusing gaze. As a result, I didn't finish all the questions of the exam and got the lowest score in my life. Besides I left the teacher a very bad impression. I realized it was important to make sure of the time and date before the exam and never make the same mistake again.
