　　As far as I’m concerned, constructing an extra quiet place in the dormitory building for study is unnecessary. Actually, in my university, every department has its own study room where a range of academic books and reference materials are readily available; it is also convenient for students to access professors and tutors since the office rooms are nearby. Lots of students, with myself included, have their own fixed seats in the study rooms and their tables are often exclusive where they have already piled up a huge number of books. This study room can already meet the need of most students, so extra study places in the dormitory may be redundant. [111]
　　Adding a space for entertainment is also not a desirable option for students in my school. Take myself as an example. I’m overwhelmed by lots of academic work in the daily life, such as preparation for the presentations, group projects, assignments for various courses and things like that. And I believe that the same thing happens to most of my peers: our timetables do not allow too much time for recreation. As a consequence, the additional entertainment function will also be rarely used. [83]

　　Compared with the last two choices, building an exercise room to keep physical well-being is necessary. Studies have shown that contemporary university students’ level of physical soundness has dramatically declined. If there are easy-to-reach and well-equipped exercise room, students are likely to make physical exercises a regular part of their lives, rather than collapsing in front of a screen every evening. One may oppose me by pointing those football courts, basketball courts as well as the track and field training ground on campus. But I have to say that they are not adequate because such places cannot cater for all the students. There are many individuals not fond of ball games or running. An exercise room with simple fitness equipment is a good supplement. [128]
